Portrait of Emeline at the wheel in a truck

Emeline, truck driver in France from the branch in Nantes

The impression that truck drivers are all male - that is history for a long time! We at DB Schenker embrace diversity and see the increase in gender equality as a key success factor for our sustainable future as a company. It makes us proud to continue our powerful women series, now with a focus on Women@Land – following a successful Women@CL season. We will once again present 10 inspiring women in Land Transport over the following weeks. So, stay tuned. We kick off with our truck driver Emeline, one of our truck drivers in France from the branch in Nantes.

Live day by day!

Emeline our powerful women@Land

What makes my work within Land Transport special?
My work has an impact as a truck driver. Because we are in direct contact with the customers, and we must give the best image of our company.
What are your areas of interest/ hobbies?
I love hiking. I also help seniors and people with reduced mobility by giving them their shopping.

Please share your personal goals with us.
I would like to evolve in the company step by step within the operations.

What are your strengths? I am a perfectionist and materialistic.
I take care of the equipment. I’m motivated because I like what I do. I listen to others.

If you could say only one thing to other women who are planning to take on a career in logistics or are already in logistics, what would it be?
Anything is possible and you should not be afraid to do it.

Thank you, Emeline, for kicking off this extraordinary series and giving inspiration to other ladies in logistics.
