Today we introduce you to Raluca, Director of Land Transport in Canada, Region Americas. With our series “Women@LandTransport”, we showcase inspiring women in the business unit Land Transport. Raluca’s motto in life is, “You are what you do, not what you say you’ll do!” and her attitude on how to react to challenges in life is stimulating. Raluca is responsible for providing directives and guidelines in response to changing market conditions. Further, she must ensure the deliverables for the services DB Schenker provides to clients, to negotiate, and select the appropriate carriers. Over and above, she establishes strategic priorities and supports the clients.

If you could say only one thing to other women who are planning to take on a career in logistics or are already in logistics, what would it be?
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us, but rather by how we react to what happens to us. Thus, we only fail when we give up.
