DB Schenker Award application criteria
At DB Schenker we depend on key players of the future. With a prize of 10,000 euros for the author and 5,000 euros for the supervising professor, the DB Schenker Award is one of the most important international awards in the logistics industry.
You can apply for the DB Schenker Award by submitting your dissertation, postdoctoral qualification or comparable academic work. The award is handed out annually.
The subject of the work submitted should relate to logistics. Papers on information systems, management systems or communications systems are also permissible provided they have a particular reference to logistics. In addition to high scientific and methodological standards, applications will also be evaluated based on practical relevance, degree of innovation and benefit to the environment and society.
More information on the application process and deadline will be available on this website as soon as the next application cycle for the DB Schenker Award begins.
The foundation’s Board of Trustees will use an anonymous process to select the top five most promising applications based on the abstracts submitted and will then request the original work.
