DB Schenker Rail

The Sales function

DB Schenker Rail’s new Sales Business Unit, managed at a European level, offers solutions which are precisely tailored to meet the requirements of a whole range of industries and commodities.

With the introduction of the new organizational structure, the former Automotive and Intermodal Business Segments have been integrated into the European and German sales organization.

Bottom line accountability rests with the individual companies, which are attached to the Regions.  In this way, DB Schenker Rail is concentrating their numerous activities in order to form a genuine European network, at the same time addressing the requirements of its customers much more closely.

DB Intermodal, the specialist for intermodal transportation, connects carriers with the environmentally friendly rail transportation system.

Automotive operates pan-European transportation systems, both for smooth flows of materials between the automotive assembly plants, and for the shipment of vehicles to dealers, distributors and maritime ports.

For the coal, iron and steel, construction materials/consumer goods, and chemical/mineral oils industries, DB Schenker Rail also offers a comprehensive range of ancillary and logistics services in addition to the main transportation service.

You can learn more about DB Schenker Rail’s sales activities, and Intermodal and Automotive activities via the link on the right.
