The Role
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager, Air Freight ANZ, to lead the Air Freight Customer Service team and foster positive relationships with new and existing customers to capitalise on profitable business opportunities.
Role Highlights
- Take responsibility for the overall client retention strategy of the Airfreight business unit
- Work closely with relevant Key Account Managers to monitor activity levels, participate in tenders, and develop new business opportunities by selling Schenker's services to existing customers
- Utilise your advanced product and industry knowledge and ability to deal with customers at all levels to translate customer needs into complete solutions
- Develop and motivate department team members to achieve successful outcomes for all customers aligned with agreed SLAs
The Ideal Candidate
You will have at least 5 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry with a particular focus on customer relationships and managing a team of direct reports. With excellent customer service skills and strong communication, both written and verbal, you will be well-adept to analyse customer issues and develop solutions in order to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) will be required as well as comfort in presenting both with your peers as well as senior leaders. Does this sound like you?
