In the past year, Schenker Fairs, Events & Special Logistics in Belgium focused on risk and opportunity management. This effort was rewarded by obtaining the ISO9001 certificate in February. In January, the quality management system of the Schenker site in Steenokkerzeel was assessed by Bureau Veritas, a worldwide market leader in audits and certification.
It is not common in the exhibition and event logistics that an ISO certificate can be presented. For exhibitors and trade fair organizers, however, it is an important factor when awarding assignments. The other modalities of the logistics service provider received the necessary certificates earlier. This certification is new for DB Schenker Fairs, Events & Special Logistics in Belgium.
Nicole Biesheuvel, Head of Fairs, Events & Special Logistics at Schenker Logistics BeNeLux: "ISO9000 deals with various aspects of quality management.
