At DB Schenker we represent all EU customers directly at customs. Since 1/1/2018 this also applies to Belgian customers.
Since April 19, 2017 the possibility exists to create customs documents (import and export) under direct representation using a Schenker NV customer account, also described by the Belgium customs as direct representation with financial facilities.
At DB Schenker we apply direct representation where legally permitted, all PLDA declarations, as described here, should be draft up, unless this is impossible due to customs regulations.
Please provide us with a power of attorney authorization for direct representation. Without this power of attorney, Schenker NV is not allowed to prepare customs documents.
