Business Development Manager - Land Freight
Are you a talented Business Development Manager with a proven track record in securing major business deals? Do you have in-depth industry knowledge within European Land Transport? Are you skilled at building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and exceeding sales targets? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing and successful team!
Salary: Competitive + car allowance + bonus + benefits
Location: Ireland / Hybrid. This role will involve regular travel to clients and other Schenker sites as required.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Business Development Manager you will;
- Source, develop, and secure new land business from potential national and local key customers
- Work closely with Product/Business Unit Management in Land, engaging upfront to ensure a greater win ratio.

Requirements
About You
- Proven sales track record, consistently exceeding targets and onboarding major new business deals.
- Extensive industry knowledge within European Land Transport/Freight.
- An understanding of Customs Clearance and Incoterms.
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Ability to identify and successfully close new business opportunities.
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Commercially aware and skilled in negotiating at a high level.
