Update 3 – Hurricane Irma – Puerto Rico and Florida Keys

(Miami, FL 09/08 - 9am) We would like to update our network partners and customers on the recent developments in Caribbean and USA.

Puerto Rico Update – SJU office is open.

San Juan, Puerto Rico office has resumed operations. Airports and ports re-opened operations as well but, as expected, are informing of delays in the dispatch and receiving of freight. All the airlines are announcing the cancellation of flights to Florida, US this afternoon due to the passing of Hurricane Irma over that State this weekend. International carriers such as Cargolux and KLM had previously canceled all their flights until the next week which will delay the movement of freight.

Most of the governmental services are still closed, 50% of the Island is still without power and 7% without water.

We are working to resume normal operations as conditions allow.
