DB Schenker, the world´s leading global exhibition logistics provider, and August Robotics, a Hong Kong based robotics and artificial intelligence company, have announced a partnership with the common goal of assisting exhibition companies and venues around the world to make their exhibition build-up processes more reliable, efficient and safe.
August Robotics has developed an autonomous robot that automates the floor marking process in trade show halls. The robot – called Lionel - has the ability to integrate seamlessly into the existing exhibition build-up workflow, improving accuracy and workers safety, whilst also reducing the time required for this labor intensive process.
DB Schenker is supporting August Robotics with consultancy service and business advice, benefitting from over 60 years of experience in servicing the exhibition industry. In addition, DB Schenker will provide global logistics services as well as on-site operational support to the August Robotics team.
