Join our team as a Data Centre Operative!

We are looking for a Data Centre Operative to join our specialist White Glove & Technology logistics team. This role is critical to the safe, compliant, and professional handling of high-value IT infrastructure within live data centre environments. 

As a Data Center Operative, you will be part of a trusted crew responsible for delivering, positioning, and supporting the installation of sensitive equipment. Working in secure, mission-critical environments, you will ensure that every task is carried out with precision, professionalism, and strict adherence to Health & Safety standards.

 

Location: Ballycoolin

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

(Overtime may be required during the week or on weekends)

 

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Loading and unloading high-value, sensitive products
  • Adhering to strict Health & Safety protocols and PPE requirements
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) with precision
  • Ensuring quality and compliance standards are always met
  • Reporting incidents or risks to the Team Lead or Supervisor immediately
  • Working closely with colleagues and external security contacts
  • Occasionally supporting logistics operations offsite
  • Maintaining product, inventory, and process accuracy

About You

You are someone who:

  • Is physically fit and capable of manual handling
  • Has a strong level of English (spoken, written, and reading)
  • Takes pride in being punctual, professional, and detail-focused
  • Can work well both independently and within a team
  • Follows instructions with precision and works to tight deadlines
  • Has previous experience in a secure logistics or warehouse role (desirable)
  • Holds a PPT licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Has basic PC skills (desirable)
  • Has your own transport


You are also flexible and ready to support the wider business needs — including overtime and short-notice changes to meet customer demands.
