Business Analyst (f/m)

Your tasks

  • Perform administrational tasks in several areas of Digital Solution’s product portfolio (e. g. user administration, configurations, system settings, etc.)
  • Agile User Requirements: Works with business partners to identify/document/translate requirements for IT sprint cycles and in a consumable format and terminology for developers. Maps out business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support. Acting as a “translator” between the business and IT
  • Work closely with solutions managers to conduct deep dive investigations into business problems and identify potential opportunities by understanding customer needs or challenges the product need to solve.
  • Test new features / enhancements of Digital Solution’s product portfolio
  • Work with global supply chain, transportation and logistics teams, and software teams to identify new features, projects and document new features / enhancements of Digital Solution’s product portfolio
  • Identify ways to automate analysis through smarter software systems
  • Communication Management with all involved requestors and parties
  • Close collaboration and alignment with global SPOCs of Global Digital Solution’s product portfolio
  • Assist other teams within the Business Unit “Global Digital Solutions” in Service Management, Demand Management, Solution Design and Test Management related tasks
  • Identifying trends in customer and forwarder data, developing solutions and corrective actions
  • Monitor supplier SLAs

Requirements

  • Profound knowledge in IT and logistics business with at least 3 years work experience
  • Experience with translating business requests into IT requirements
  • Working experience in creation of technical and training documentation
  • International experience in customer projects, service management and working with cross-regional/global IT teams.
  • Understanding of business and IT processes
  • Ability to re-prioritize on a regular basis to remain on the ball with business needs
  • Customer and service orientation
  • Experience in a dynamic industry (high tech, consumer electronics)
  • Ability to work independently and thoroughly
  • Excellent analytics skills and the ability to present and communicate with different stakeholders on multiple levels within the organization
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Flexibility & willingness to learn
  • Profound MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
  • Fluent business English (spoken and written) is a plus
