IT Project Manager - Contract Logistics

Your tasks

  • Takes the responsibility for the project management for contract logistics
  • Engages with the solutioning team to ensure successful implementation of the project
  • Analyzing the needs of the company and providing a technical solution and timelines for implementation of the solutions
  • Develop, maintain, and enable best practices, standards, and technologies across the IT landscape
  • Lead and Manage QA process
  • Lead the collection and documentation of user requirements and business functionalities
  • Perform cross functional modeling on areas such as warehouse operations, WMS, ERP & RF solutions
  • Perform task estimates and formulate work plans together with technical team
  • Manage user expectation
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for solution implementation team
  • Support end user training and enablement workshops
  • Provide leadership on the solution delivery process with best practices to drive key architecture decisions and ensure organizational fit and sustainability
  • Ensure architecture governance by on solution delivery projects

Requirements

Project Management Skill & job requirements:
  • As a WMS expert, support business requirement to design/define the ITCL solution & drive the project plan for IT portion
  • To handle key account change requests
  • To support requirements from both internal business and external partners
  • To coordinate with internal parties including (but not limited to) Project Manager, Business Requirement Manager, Solution Designer, & Business Users in project rollout
  • To manage NGW migration and solution implementation
  • To carry out business analysis and user requirement documentation for new projects
  • Be responsible for solution consultation, solution design, development management, test management, & QA control (not limited), to deliver projects (developments) with good quality & on time in order to meet the project KPIs


Others requirement:
  • Proven experience in warehouse and supply chain work process design
  • Proven experience engaging business users and technical resources
  • Proven experience with QA best practices
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
  • Ability to manage escalation from various stakeholders
  • Mind set to undertake projects and manage risks independently
  • Language competency (Mandarin & English) to communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders
  • Technical exposure in one or more skill sets below: MS SQL server 2008 or above, Java / .NET-based programming, mobile apps development
  • Flexibility to business travelling (e.g. cities within Greater China)


Experience and Qualifications:
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT or related degree
  • 4 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in Supply Chain or in a 3rd party logistics company mandatory
  • Experience in warehouse operations preferred
  • Experience in warehouse management systems or ERP systems
  • Prior experience in a project or technical leadership position
