In early 2021, DB Schenker signed a 10-year exclusive logistics services contract with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), to support the development of Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) located in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, which is the first multi-industry advanced manufacturing facility in Asia, integrated with automated and smart logistics solutions.
After more than a year of construction and preparation, AMC has been officially put into operation. What are the design features of AMC as a new-generation logistics center? How does the delivery system (goods-to-person system) work? What are a series of automated logistics tools such as intelligent robotic forklifts, four-way pallet systems, demolition robotic arms, and global source tracking systems?
