Schedule changes in the summer period
As the holidays begin, we would like to inform our customers that we expect very high volumes of shipments in our transport network in the Czech Republic and abroad during the week around the national holidays of the Day of the Slavic Heroes Cyril and Matoděj and the Day of the Burning of Jan Hus (5 and 6 July 2022).
We have prepared a special schedule for European truck transport in July and August this year. Particularly in the August period, there are nationwide shutdowns in the countries of southern Europe (e.g. Spain, France and Italy) and a drop in production and trade. However, this also applies to the Benelux countries and Scandinavia. We advise to all of our customers to make sure that the recipient will be able to receive the shipment on the expected delivery date before sending it. If some shipments cannot be delivered due to the absence of the recipient, this may increase the shipping charge by the cost of storage or return of the shipment to the sender.
In response to the anticipated decline in international shipments, we will adjust the number of departures and arrivals to/from individual European destinations. Customers can find details of any changes to international routes in the Schedule app or by contacting our customer service colleagues.
The domestic distribution network will operate without restrictions during the summer months.
