Ihre Aufgaben

Define, execute and support the Europe Tender strategies for regional and global Tender in conjunction with all stakeholder with special focus on:
- Business growth by increasing the success rate
- Identification of the relevant opportunities
- Evaluation and optimization of pricing, services and solutions

Market and customer intelligence

Main Tasks

Business development
- Ensures that we have right business approach by understanding the customer re-quirements
- Establishes a sound understanding of buying terms on trunk routes and basic second-ary routes as well as for worldwide local charges (incl haulages) to ensure the right pricing
- Identifies and supports growth strategies for ocean focus accounts
- Supports value proposition to the customer
- Participates in customer meetings

Development of tender strategies
- Consults with stakeholders prior to any tender launch the best strategy for the account to increase the success chances
- Understanding, alignment and coordination of account requirements with relevant par-ties (Tender documentation, specific requirements)

Alignment between all stakeholders:
- Ensures a close communication and interaction between relevant stakeholder from Sales, Trade, LCL, Implementation, Regions, Clusters, Countries, pricing teams during all phases of the tender (pre-tender, tender, post tender phase)
- Leads and executes final health check on tenders

Prioritization of tenders:
- Definition and guidance on priority accounts to ensure that the right opportunities are worked on. Always under consideration of the ambitious growth targets.

Market and customer intelligence:
- Continuously be informed about of the oceanfreight market developments
- Develops customer intelligence

Skill Set:
Solid background in oceanfreight, m/m 10 years years of experience, ideally within an in-ternational company
Experience in a similar position
Very good excel knowledge and analytical skills
High motivation skills and a strategic target and result orientation
Exceptional relationship manager with high communication skills
Willingness to travel international and domestic
Flexible, highly motivated with a global mind-set
Fluent in English, further languages are advantageous
