Each year our offices and headquarters offer several positions for dual study candidates in the fields of forwarding, transport and logistics (Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim/Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach/Berlin School of Economics and Law) and HR Management (Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Loerrach). What can you expect in this position?

For this degree, you'll learn all about national and international commerce - from accepting orders to production planning and order fulfillment. The focal points are both national and international commerce as well as individual transport modes (road, rail, air and ocean freight) as well as multimodal transport. This includes for example:

  • The international freight industry
  • The logistics services market
  • Logistics, freight forwarding and warehousing
  • Operative and strategic logistics planning
  • Transport geography and transport policy

Beyond this, you'll undertake interdisciplinary coursework to learn about the fundamentals of business management and economics, data processing, law and commercial code and the basics of accounting, controlling and HR.

What can you expect in this position?

For this degree, you'll learn about the issues that face companies and employees - including hiring, support and business accounting. Employees are the key factor for any company, and HR workers understand that a company can only be as good as its staff. The focus is on operative and strategic HR management. This includes:

  • Organization and strategic orientation of HR
  • Strategic human resource planning
  • Labor law
  • Personnel diagnostics
  • Professional and career development and coaching

Beyond this, you'll undertake interdisciplinary coursework to learn about the fundamentals of business management and economics, data processing and law and the basics of accounting and controlling. You'll also have the chance to gain certification as a trainer.
