A trainee programme includes your development as a person and as a colleague. During your trainee programme, you can seek advice and guidance from a broad network of people. Amongst others, you are given a ”buddy” – a second-year trainee – who understands how you feel and how you are.
The Trainee Programme
DB Schenker ensures that you are given every opportunity to receive good training. You are given a structured training schedule which ensures you the best possible period of training.
Your first year
You start by being welcomed by your new colleagues in your department. Shortly afterwards, all trainees are invited to a two-day induction at our Copenhagen headquarters, where you get to know DB Schenker and each other much better.
While working in your department, you attend school on a regular basis, where you are taught theoretical subjects that you may then test in real life when you are back at work. During the year, we also arrange assessment meetings with you, ensuring your optimum development and that expectations are matched.
Your second year
To create synergy across departments, you move to a new department and learn about a new product. We invite you on an international study tour, where you meet other trainees from around the world and complete case work. You continue to attend school and assessment meetings on a regular basis, and your trainee programme concludes by you completing a vocational test and receiving your diploma.
