Coronavirus in China affects traffic

In DB Schenker, we are closely following developments in China and the Coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Due to the circumstances, a large part of the operation is closed until February 9, 2020. The country's infrastructure is restricted, and this has a huge impact on the transport of goods to, from and within China, and thus also the global supply chain.

The situation is constantly evolving and different from area to area in China. In DB Schenker we think of our 6000 Chinese colleague’s wellbeing. We follow the rules and instructions from the government. With approval we try to handle urgent shipments from most places from, to and in China.

We advise that there may be delays, extra costs and alternative solutions due to limited capacity.

Contact your local logistics expert at DB Schenker if you have any questions.
