New customs requirements for Consignments to or via China

The Chinese Customs Authorities have announced a regulation for customs called No.56 Announcement that has come into force as of 1 June 2018. It requires a brief description of goods, new limitation of transmission time of data sending through the booking system and new information are needed when you book a transport.

Goods description is already part of our standard procedure, so this is already covered. We also live up to the data timeline, sent through the booking system.

The only thing that will change for you as a customer is that you need to provide following information, when you book transport to or via China (italic is the new initiatives):

If the above required information is not given, the goods can be delayed and you can get a fine.
