Strike alert threatens DB Schenkers traffic to and from Norway

Norwegian LO has announced a strike from 24.00 on Sunday, 8/4.

About 35,000 members in industry, transport, food industry, freight forwarding and cleaning will be affected if the ongoing negotiations with the employers' union is not leading to an agreement before.

In the event of a strike, union officials and collective staff will take part in the strike.
This means that Schenker A/S will not be able to comply with scheduled slots to and from Norway, which will cause major traffic disturbances.

Customers who buy services outside DB Schenker, such as customs handling, may need to monitor this separately as more industries than transport are covered by the strike.
