Didier is going for Gold

“It’s my first job, I’m still here, and I’m proud of that. I cannot sell any other logistics service provider. I’m 100% DB Schenker,” says Didier, Sales Representative.

This quote perfectly describes Didier and his passion for logistics and DB Schenker. Exactly 38 years ago, on the 18th of February 1984, he joined Schenker and never thought for a second to leave. Back then, Schenker only operated in the Land Transport business.

I had the opportunity to grow with the company and saw the development of the whole group. This is amazing.

Didier, Sales Representative

Didier’s passion for Sales in Land Transport is directly related to ‘Going for Gold’. This was his motto far before the Golden Truck was implemented as a symbol of the BiggerBetterFasterMore+ strategy. He likes to be in contact with the world, representing DB Schenker and offering the best solutions for our customers. As a result, he now has a vast collection of all the business cards he collected over the years from all the different colleagues he met globally.

Going for Gold is also his motto when playing his favorite hobby: Billiards. He plays in Belgium’s first national league. His family also produces race bikes, so Didier likes to cycle too, and you’ll find him on track with his own Race Bike.

He has already collected over 100 kilometers for our 150th anniversary, Leading The Way Challenge. This, of course, also includes other activities like running or the popular Brain Quiz.

Thank you, Didier, for being part of our DB Schenker family, and congratulations on your anniversary today. We look forward to continuing to take charge with you.
