Due to exceptional business growth DB Schenker is hiring a talented, ambitious Supervisor who will report directly to the Operations Manager. This role provides continuous professional development for the incumbent in their career journey. As a Supervisor you will be an operational support by owning and managing the daily activities of the business in a manner which promotes the Health & Safety values of DB Schenker.
As a Supervisor you will oversee the operations workflow ensuring the highest standards for Safety, Quality and Cost whilst owning responsibility for coaching your team members. You are a confident negotiator, skilled in resolving issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management.

What are we looking for?
Candidates should hold a relevant professional qualification. The ideal person has Supervisor experience in a relevant industry and a proven track record in staff training. Ideally you will have at least 3 years' experience in a multi-national logistics role.
You will have Intermediate level IT skills to include Microsoft Office products and Warehouse Management systems. You are an excellent communicator who is enthusiastic and patient with a flexible "can-do" attitude.
You will require a solid understanding of Employment Relations and Health and Safety laws, regulations and policies.
Previous experience in Inventory Control is essential.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
