The Team Lead – Contract Logistics Operations is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily warehouse and logistics activities within a contract logistics environment. This includes inventory control, inbound and outbound operations, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with customer SLAs, safety standards, and operational KPIs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
  • Ensure efficient and timely execution of customer orders in accordance with SLA requirements.
  • Coordinate with transportation, customer service, and planning teams to ensure smooth logistics flow.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives, assigning tasks and monitoring productivity.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily team briefings and promote a culture of safety and performance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counts and stock audits.
  • Monitor KPI metrics (e.g., order accuracy, inventory accuracy, OTIF delivery) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify process gaps and collaborate with management to implement operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations and internal safety policies.
  • Support system transactions in WMS/ERP platforms and assist in reporting and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations; at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working in contract logistics or third-party logistics (3PL) environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP tools, and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain workflows and inventory management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
