DB Schenker has been active in Indonesia since 1976 and formed a joint venture with our long-term partner, the Petrolog Indah Group in March 1999. 1. Rail Freight
Reconnecting with the roots of DB Schenker when it was found in 1872, PT. Schenker Petrolog Utama is proud to have our dedicated container rail service from Jakarta to Surabaya. Departing twice a day, the train rides only takes 18 hours, reducing the transit lead time by 50% and the cost by up to 20% for our customers.
We make transport better, more efficient and more reliable with customer-oriented and tailored solutions. We also offer customized industry solutions tailored up your needs for areas such as the chemicals, mineral oil, disposal, paper, metals and coal, and automotive industries. And with special environmentally friendly services like Eco Plus, we make rail the greenest mode of transportation.
2. Denpasar Hub
Denpasar Branch (DPS/Bali) offers the hub service by leveraging carrier capacities into Australia.
This alternative solution will ensure that you can meet lead times & rate requirement of your customer, especially during peak seasons. There are daily and double daily flights with total of 473tons per month capacity into AU main airports.
With no risk of ID import custom, cargo will be only transit in the transshipment area and if cargo arrives in DPS before 14.00 LT would be connected on the same day flight, including weekends. Our activities include DPS transit documentation handling, pallet build up and uplift to AU destination.
3. Domestic Ocean Freight
Through our Surabaya control tower, we efficiently handle your shipment to and from Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Makassar, Manado, Ambon, Kupang, Kendari, Jayapura, Sorong, and other Indonesian ports.
We provide complete, end-to-end logistics services through our cross-docking facility in Surabaya, where we work with domestic and international partners. Our Surabaya cross docking facility is strategically located between Tanjung Perak and Teluk Lamong seaports.
We are also a registered customs broker with the Makassar Customs office, and for other eastern Indonesia ports, we work closely with local partners to ensure a smooth customs clearance process.
