DB Schenker in Indonesia changes name to PT Schenker Logistics Indonesia

DB Schenker is pleased to announce that, effective February 1, 2023, the company’s name in Indonesia has changed from PT Schenker Petrolog Utama to PT Schenker Logistics Indonesia.

The new name reflects DB Schenker’s strong commitment to the logistics industry in Indonesia. The new brand name will enable the company to further expand its logistics capacity and innovative solutions, setting the stage for further growth in the country.

The name change was made possible thanks to the regulation in Indonesia, that is aimed at boosting foreign investment and allows foreign companies to fully own the operations in Indonesia. The rebranding has started on February 1, 2023, and will continue throughout the remainder of the year.

DB Schenker has been active in Indonesia since 1976 and formed a joint venture with our long-term partner, the Petrolog Indah Group in March 1999. In May 2021, the company opened a new head office in Jakarta to serve its growing customer base across the country.
