Jul 6, 2017 DB Schenker opens its doors to schools Our experts in transports and logistics welcomed students learning Logistics.The world of logistics offers a wide range of activities to those looking to the world of business: with the initiative "Doors open to schools" held on May 9th and 16th, DB Schenker in Italy has given a chance to students to make an experience and see what the Logistics profession means.Our experts in transports and logistics at the Headquarters in Peschiera Borromeo welcomed two classes in the 3rd year of Istituto Tecnico Industriale Feltrinelli (Industrial Engineering Institute) and twenty university students in the 5th year of Ingegneria Gestionale (Management Engineering) of Politecnico University of Milan; to both groups a general presentation of our company and the DB Schenker group has been given, followed by a guided tour of the warehouses and the facilities.The initiative "Doors open to schools" is part of our social commitment in the framework of the DB2020 group strategy (alongside economic and environmental targets) with various initiatives including the promotion activity to attract new talents to the Logistics profession.
