DBS CA - Logistics - Warehouse Associate(Maintenance L2) WKND

Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.  It is not an exhaustive list of 

all expectations): 

• Processing customer orders – including picking, packing and inspecting shipments 

• Daily communication with transportation companies and customer 

• Receiving 

• Repetitive lifting of heavy items 

• Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies. 

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and receipts 

• Daily warehouse housekeeping 

• Participating in inventory control and cycle counting 

• Liaising with other departments to address delivery and receipt enquires 

• Becoming an effective team member by participating in process improvement initiatives 

• Performing other general administrative / warehouse duties and tasks as assigned 

Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified 

personnel): 

• Completion of high school 

• Minimum two years warehouse experience 

• GMP trained 

• Trained and certified forklift, with a proven safe track record 

• Must be able to continuously lift heavy items 

• Excellent accuracy and organization skills complimented by the ability to multi-task and prioritize 

• Work effectively as a team player 

• Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing process 

Position Description Summary: 

Reporting to the Lead Hand the successful candidate will be responsible for the shipping and receiving within the warehouse.
