    The Opportunity
    We're on the lookout for a Solutions Designer to become a key player in our Contract Logistics team. Reporting to the Head of Solutions Design & Engineering, ANZ, this role is crucial for driving growth through innovative and customer-centric logistics solutions. Please note, we are open to the role being based in various locations. Ideally, this will be Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

    As our Solutions Designer, you will:

    • Design and implement advanced logistics solutions, focusingon automation and digitalisationtransport and warehouse cost simulations to enhance our warehousing and transportation services
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams across APAC ANZ to create solutions that are not only commercially viable but also aligned with our core product offerings
    • Engage in detailed analyses, utilising simulation and optimisation techniques to ensure solutions are operationally feasible and aligned with business objectives
    • Collaborate on proposal development, presenting tailored solutions to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and DB Schenker's strategic goals

    Who We Are Looking For:

    • Substantial experience in logistics and supply chain, with a strong emphasis on solution design and innovation
    • More than 3 years of relevant working experience in the logistics and supply chain industry or transport field; knowledge of 3PL, 4PL
    • Strong analytical skills, with a knack for project management and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a diverse cultural environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and familiarity with logistics software e.g. CLASS, Sketchup is highly regarded
    • A bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Business Management
