In the frame of their environmental partnership, DB Schenker and Hapag-Lloyd launched a project together with a prestigious cosmetics brand to address one of the most burning environmental and health subjects in ocean shipping, i.e., sulfur oxide emissions in ports.
29-Jul-2013 was a big day for Luxembourg! The Ocean Freight Department finally went live with TANGO as a big bang. From the initial Kick-off on 23-Jul-2012, the country needed roughly one year to go-live completely.
The first shipment created in TANGO was an import handover shipment arriving via Antwerp to Luxembourg. The first export shipment they created was a LCL-shipment to Beirut in Lebanon.
