DB Schenker invests in the further development of the Belgian land transport division, among other things by modernizing its fleet. In the upcoming weeks, a total of 75 new trailers will be delivered step by step to the land transport branch in Mechelen. These will be deployed from Belgium in the international groupage network throughout Europe.

TIP presented the first trailer on Tuesday 3 September 2019 to Patrick Bellen and Peter Vermeiren, Fleet Coordinator. Peter: “The trailers are operated by our three national transport locations in Zwevegem, Mechelen and Eupen. They are immediately used for daily national and international distribution. The trailers are equipped with a modern tracking system which simplifies checkings and analyzing the trailer usage. This allows us to improve the load factor.
