Lead the Team of Solution Design experts of the Vertical Team within Solution Design Center to safeguard, best-in-class Solutions in terms of layout, resourcing and staffing for Contract Logistics Projects within Region EMEA and assist in winning new business consistent with DSV guidelines. Optimize utilization of the Team and safeguard approach “Top expert to top opportunity. 


Your tasks: 

  • Lead and inspire a team of Solution Design experts, fostering collaboration and best-practice sharing. 
  • Drive the regional Solution Design strategy and push standardization across the center. 
  • Provide guidance on technical and commercial aspects of new business and renewals, ensuring innovative and cost-effective solutions. 
  • Ensure all designed solutions incorporate the latest technology and best practices for maximum productivity. 
  • Allocate projects effectively within the team and manage overall capacity for optimal utilization. 
  • Develop team members’ skills through targeted training and maintain an up-to-date skills matrix. 
  • Act as a link to other vertical teams and participate in strategic meetings with leadership. 
  • Step in and take over Solution Design tasks for top opportunities when needed.

Your profile: 

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in (Logistics) Engineering. 
  • You have proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams in virtual or hybrid settings. 
  • You bring a strong track record of successfully leading teams through change. 
  • You have solid experience in contract logistics warehousing and/or manufacturing support solution design, ideally in the 3PL industry. 
  • You are a self-starter with excellent analytical and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. 
  • You communicate confidently at all organizational levels and excel in presentations. 
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and can work across multiple time zones. 
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, simulation software, or network modeling tools is an advantage. 
  • Willingness to travel completes your profile.
