Your tasks
The position
- You make logistics policy proposals, draw up the annual warehouse plan and elaborate the plans into logistics activities and processes
- You ensure a good organizational structure and efficient and effective processes through logistics designs, quality and logistics analyses, risk analyses, etc.
- You guarantee personnel quality and quantity
- You have regular meetings with contractors and suppliers and ensure good cooperation
- You guarantee optimum performance for internal and external customers and ensure that customer agreements and SLAs are realized
- You assess results, identify bottlenecks, and intervene in case of deviations
- You initiate and coordinate (improvement) projects in the field of quality, work processes, efficiency, health & safety, and environment

For our new contract logistics location in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager. As Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for a production environment dedicated to one high-tech customer. In this role, you will directly manage 4 Supervisors and a Lean Coordinator. Indirectly, you manage +- 50 FTEs, divided into permanent employees and temporary workers. As Warehouse Manager, you are a member of the local MT and report to the Branch Director.
