The Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing efficient processes within our data center operations. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, reduce operational waste and cost and drive continuous improvement through lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct process mapping and analysis within warehouse and data center operations to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Perform time studies to analyze process performance and establish standards
- Support the implementation of new processes, ensuring smooth transition and adherence
- Act as a trainer for new process rollouts, providing comprehensive instruction to operational teams
- Carry out detailed data analysis to support productivity improvement projects across the region
- Assist in productivity initiatives and collaborate closely with project teams to achieve targeted improvements
- Contribute actively to the organization's Continuous Improvement program
- Identify operational waste and propose lean solutions aimed at optimizing performance
- Initiate and lead cost-saving and avoidance projects
- Utilize Lean Management methodologies to enhance operational effectiveness
- Support other business relevant projects to support the operational objectives and growth in EMEA
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably within a 3PL or logistics environment
- Proficiency in process mapping software and tools
- Experience conducting time studies and using data-driven approaches to drive improvement
- Solid understanding and practical experience of Lean Management principles and methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)
- Green Belt or any Lean/Kaizen certification is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret and leverage operational data
- Excellent training and communication skills, with experience in conducting training sessions
- Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
