Dispatcher Direct Express

The position

• Efficient Planning and Scheduling: Coordinate and plan Express and white glove deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of shipments.
• Route Optimization: Develop and implement optimized routing strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce transit times.
• Resource Allocation: Assign and manage subcontractors, vehicles, and equipment based on availability, delivery requirements, and priority levels.
• Real-Time Monitoring: Monitor delivery progress in real-time, addressing any issues or delays promptly and effectively.
• Customer Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with customers and end-receivers providing updates on delivery status and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all deliveries comply with relevant regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all dispatch activities.
• Problem Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the delivery process.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team, drivers, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery operations.
• Network: Develop and maintain a strong carrier database, for both Express and white glove service partners.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching and logistics within the transport industry, preferably with international experience.
• Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to quickly and effectively resolve operational issues.
• Flexibility: High level of flexibility is required operationally as well in working times
