The position is located within Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the global account team and contributes to optimizations / improvements / changes of logistics process and systems in accordance with the global customer requirements. Global projects are carried out within the framework of (international) collaboration with other branches, working for the same key customer. This position also contributes to establishing and maintaining an unambiguous, consistent, high standard in all branches globally, working for this customer.
Your goal in this position is designing and optimizing the production and operational processes across several scopes globally. The focus lies on implementing repeatable, consistent processes and enabling the sharing of standard operating procedures and best practices at a global level.
The result criteria of this position are correctness of registered information, applicability/value addition, quality of the solutions and completeness and quality of standards.
  • Map, analyze and design operational and production processes on a global level following manufacturing methodologies and standards
  • Cooperate with regional/site Industrial Engineers/SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) on identifying site differences and effectively incorporate into general process design
  • Create flowcharts for products, processes and systems
  • Maintain production system configuration data and matrices and drive sites for regular time measurements and utilization rate updates
  • Maintain configuration documents describing production system functionality and configurability from solution design perspective
  • Maintain production system configuration data and matrices
  • Track customer changes in project management tools, analyze the system impact and interact with IT developers - - communicate through IT management tool (JIRA), raise the ticket and describe details
  • Analyze customer requirement, design solution and prepare relevant documentation Track company internal Change Requests/Improvements, regularly review with the sites. Analyze impact, set priority and incorporate solution into global process setup, communicate requirements with IT developers (raise ticket in JIRA, etc.)
  • Define Reporting and Dashboards based on customer requirements and internal needs (key production indicators


  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • 5 year's of experience in Industrial/ Manufacturing engineering, Solution Design of Production Systems, Customer Change management & implementation.
  • Excellent oral and written knowledge of the Dutch and English language
  • Highly advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel - VB, Pivot tables), Visio/ OmniGraffle
  • Ability to operate in Mac OS/ Windows OS
  • Experience with Project Management tools (WorkFront/ JIRA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D) - (3D advantage), Process simulation SW - Arena, FlexSim, Simio, Simul8 - (advantage).
