Making the Grade: DB Schenker & Porsche Pair Up to Open New Warehouse in Canada
Already working together in China and South Korea, Porsche and DB Schenker extend their long-running relationship to Canada, where they opened the automaker’s first parts distribution centre in Mississauga, Ontario last year.
DB Schenker has extensively investigated the use of exoskeletons at several logistics locations in Germany, in order to relieve warehouse personnel of physically-demanding tasks in the long term.
DB Schenker wants to make its transport activities in European cities emission-free by 2030. The goal is to relieve conurbations of air and noise pollution with the help of intelligent, climate-friendly solutions.
We advance businesses and lives by shaping the way our world connects. To meet this ambitious target, we work consistently to digitalize logistics processes at DB Schenker so we can improve our business activities.
