Position Description Summary: Responsible for conducting quality audits within the organization to ensure continued compliance with the Quality Management System and the maintenance of ISO 9001-2008 certification. Participate in development and delivery of a strategy that enhances continual improvement and adheres to ISO 9001 quality requirements while promoting location ownership and responsibility. Travel required 50% of job time. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): · Conduct internal and coordinate external quality audits at locations which require travel within USA, possibly to Canada and Mexico · Ensure that audits meet the current ISO standards · Ensure all administrative aspects of quality audit activities are complied with, implemented, and have closure, including setting audit schedules, assigning audit dates and auditors to their tasks · Ensure that non-conformities are properly reported, documented and communicated · Determine if management intervention is necessary to address NCNs and the audit results · Facilitate branch root cause analysis, adequate action and improvement strategy Follow up and monitor improvements to provide communication & promote sharing of best practices among all locations
Requirements
Essential Functions: * Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests. Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): * This is an intermediate level position. * Thorough knowledge of auditor practices and the ISO 9001:2000 Standards including how to apply the proper interpretation of the Standards in actual internal audit situations is required. * Must have experience conducting internal audits; and know how to manage the audit process including opening meetings, auditing, closing meetings and reporting. * Familiar with quality philosophies, quality administrative procedures and applications of quality objectives. * Technical writing skills are a plus. * Solid interpersonal and analytical skills required. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent strongly preferred. * Generally prefer 1-4 years of related experience. * Experience conducting audits within a service industry a plus.
