Position Description Summary: Responsible for managing daily operation for the maintenance of all facility, grounds ground support equipment and inventory control of all supplies and spare parts. The position is also responsible for the emergency response to equipment failure during the overnight operation. Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): • Ensure the purchase and inventory control of all supplies and parts. Ensure an adequate level of spare parts is available. Negotiate with vendors when needed to reduce item inventory costs • Plan department activities in support of Operations, ensuring the quality of maintenance performed on equipment. • Research and resolve service related problems and complaints relative to operations and vendor issues. • Evaluate the types of repair required and develops solutions to implement and prevent future reoccurrence. Analyze equipment to determine cause versus symptoms • Evaluate current systems such as energy usage, glycol system, waste disposal. Make suggestions on improvements to senior management • Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures • Manage, supervise, and develop maintenance department staff. • Manage performance to ensure required levels of productivity and organizational objectives are met. • Implement and evaluate policies, procedures, and practices relating to the maintenance department. • Maintain and implement plans to maintain productivity, safety standards, quality, cost control, and employee morale. Knowledge and Skills (The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel): This is a management position. Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Generally prefer 2-4 years of related supervisory or management experience.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary ranging from $84,000 - $90,000 annually, an annual performance-based discretionary bonus of 10% of salary, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, performance, geography, and internal equity.
