SENT: New provisions on monitoring the carriage of goods

Check whether or not – in accordance with the new Act – your goods require notification in SENT.

In view of the Sejm's adoption of the Act on monitoring the carriage of goods by road of 9 March 2017, please check whether or not your goods will require notification in the "SENT" system at www.puesc.gov.pl. The new provisions will enter into force on 18 April 2017 (14 days after the Act is published in the Journal of Laws), and the penalty regulations resulting therefrom will enter into force on 1 May 2017.

The Act requires the entities mentioned therein to report, add and update notifications on the carriage of goods in accordance with the specified list at a specially designed online platform PUESC (www.puesc.gov.pl) – system SENT.

Please check whether or not your goods require notification in accordance with the Act:

Journal of Laws

We also recommend that you regularly monitor any amendments to the Act. The Ministry of Finance has announced planned amendments in the form of a regulation on the extension of the list of goods covered by monitoring:

Furthermore, kindly note that DB Schenker will provide tools for entering SENT numbers connected with the dispatch (reference number and key for the carrier) in the order delivered, and for printing such numbers on the transport documents. On this basis, new data related to the carriage of a notified consignment will be added.

The Internet pages of DB Schenker contain a document that regulates the shipping rules of the consignments in question by our company which is an integral part of the Terms and Conditions for the Provision of Services:

Shipping Rules for Consignments Subject to the Act on Monitoring the Carriage of Goods by Road.

We thank you in advance for your support and commitment.
