Test Automation Service Manager

Twoje zadania

  • Definition and communication of the Test Automation strategy for the projects
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning, coordinating and reporting all activities within Test Automation as a Service
  • Assess the progress and effectiveness of test automation effort
  • Setup of Test Automation as a service organization (team allocation, costs & time planning, information flow, reporting, etc.)
  • Supporting Test Automation strategies design development and Test Automation tool selection
  • Ensuring that the agreed test automation methodology and process is followed by all parties involved in the service
  • Participation in the development and expansion of testing methodology in line processes (especially test automation implementation)
  • Defining, implementing and tracking test automation process metrics (KPIs)
  • Coordination of Test Automation Team, including monitoring task completion as well as quality of delivered solutions, support in solving complex issues, coaching of team members
  • Consulting and coaching of whole Solution Control team with regards to test automation
  • Managing capacity of the team and prioritize work in regard to business prioritization
  • Financial management of the Test Automation service and support our internal partner in budget calculation

Wymagania

  • Study to university degree level of computer science, information systems or a comparable education
  • Hands-on experience in defining and implementing Test Automation strategies in complex projects, as well as in building effective automated testing frameworks
  • Experience in coordination and supervision of technical test teams (ensuring the appropriate planning and management of resources, monitoring work quality and supporting in solving complex problems)
  • Strong knowledge of software testing techniques, especially good practices in Test Automation implementation and Test Automation tools
  • Practical programming skills in Java/Javascript/Python and in using test automation tools such as Robot Framework, Protractor, JMeter
  • First experience in security testing and frameworks like OWASP or others
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum as well as V-Model Driven Development methods
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ideally Certified Tester Advanced Level & Test Manager (ISTQB) (desirable)
  • Willingness to sometimes travel
  • Strong leadership skills, intercultural competence, global mindset, excellent diplomacy and advocacy skills, problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn and flexibility, being big-picture and detail-orientated
