- Manage global ocean operational projects and programs which often require high levels of functional integration
- Actively manage all necessary communication with- and between DB Schenker stakeholders
- Facilitate the definition of each project's missions, goals, tasks, financial- and resource requirements
- Document project's initiation, deliverables, project plans/budgets and benefits tracking (milestone achievement, productivity, cost savings)
- Manage portfolio of projects from a business perspective to achieve harmonization of deliverables and to highlight dependencies incl. collective risks
Accountable
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, within budget and according to DB Schenker project management standards Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Ensure Project Managers and Project teams are trained in DB Schenker Project Management standards
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with- amongst all stakeholders related to a project
- Perform continuous risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors - as applicable
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation following DB Schenker corporate guidelines
- Support individual project execution through creation of additional content - as applicable
- Handling of administrative project tasks - as required by management

- Act in a manner which increases Customer satisfaction and loyalty, maximizes shipment profitability and decreases operating expenses
- Promote a paperless, digital office environment utilizing all modern communication methods and electronic tools provided by DB Schenker
- Support a positive, attractive working atmosphere and office environment

- All general management guidelines, processes and developments of importance to the operational execution of ocean freight products
- All Ocean Freight related guidelines, processes and developments of importance to the operational execution of ocean freight products
- All KAM/Sales related guidelines, processes and developments of importance to the operational execution of ocean freight products
- All IT related guidelines, processes and developments of importance to the operational execution of ocean freight products
Requisitos
- Degree in business management, logistics engineering or a related discipline
- several years of work experience in international Freight forwarding, Logistics or Trade
- several years of work experience abroad
- Experience in change management or business transformation projects (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills and professional communication etiquette
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Perform well under pressure
- Strong computer skills (Windows PC – MS Excel, MS Power Point)
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within global team structures
