Position Description Summary:
Create and communicate profitable pricing solutions for Transatlantic ocean freight shipments to internal and external customers. Complete RFI & RFQ's for Sales and Tender Management as part of the Global Tender Process. Support Business Development and participate in projects and exercises that support yield improvement objectives and revenue growth initiatives. Serves as a trade expert and assists with various issues pertaining the ocean product.
Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
* Create and communicate profitable pricing solutions Provide competitive Transatlantic pricing for ocean freight shipments to internal and external customers.
Negotiate buying conditions with current core ocean carrier base
Complete RFI & RFQ's for Sales and Tender Management as part of the Global Tender Process.
Provide Comprehensive Ocean Freight Proposals based on the current market conditions
Participate in projects and exercises that support yield improvement objectives and revenue growth initiatives
Utilize and maintain reporting/data integrity for both internal and external reporting needs
Build Relationships and support Business Development
Strategic Account Pricing
Serves as a trade expert and assists with various issues pertaining to the ocean product.
