Cristina Neagu, the only handball player in history to win the “World Player of the Year” award three times, joined DB Schenker as the company`s new brand ambassador.
The partnership developed under the slogan “Two leaders, one mission – success” highlights the performance model demonstrated by Cristina Neagu and DB Schenker, leading national transportation and logistics provider.

Cristina Neagu is a role model outside the handball field for children and young athletes, but also for any other person. Thus, as part of this partnership, DB Schenker intends to involve the new brand ambassador in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects implemented at national level and to also develop new projects focused on sport and education. “In addition to our success and economic objectives we strive to make a difference to the community through various social actions. Cristina Neagu is a professional handball player who currently plays for CSM Bucharest and for the Romania national team. Cristina is the only handball player in history to have won the title of „World Player of the Year“ in 2010, 2015 and 2016, a distinction awarded by the International Handball Federation (IHF).
Together with the club team, Cristina won the Women’s EHF Champions League in 2015 and she has been named their top scorer in 2015 and 2018.
Among others results, she won the National League in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2018, the Romania Cup in 2011, 2018 and the Romania Super Cup in 2011, 2017.
