You work with daily and long term traffic planning. You have the ability to focus on several tasks at the same time, even under tight deadlines.
At Schenker Åkeri, you would supervise a group of about 15 drivers.
As a transport manager, you need to have a post secondary eduction, preferably a college program within Transport and Logistics, or equivalent qualifications.

As a parcel driver, you will drive packages out from our terminals to stores, offices, small businesses and private persons. You are a social person who likes to be the face of our company when you meet our customers.
For you, all the climbing in and out of the truck are opportunities to move around.

Do you want to work as a truck driver for refrigerated goods?
As a truck driver with us, you will drive out, collect and deliver goods to our terminals. Delivery of food and medications requires great care, since the transport requires safe handling to ensure that the refrigeration chain isn’t broken.
There is a lot of activity each day, through all the climbing in and out of the truck and handling the goods. That combines with the fun of being the face of our company to our many customers who you meet every day.

Are you a night owl?
Then maybe a job as a long haul driver (day or night) would be the right driving profession for you. This work entails that you transport a large number of products at night over long distances. As a long haul driver, it is an advantage if you like to move around and are a self starter.
The work is a great combination of being the company's public face to our customers and of driving a truck.
