  • How can I get support?

  • Where can I download the "Leading The Way app"?

The app is a version of the Teamfit app adapted for DB Schenker and can only be downloaded via the link https://teamfit.app.link/SCHENKER or via a special QR code from DB Schenker in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The QR code can be found on all campaign posters or the info flyer.

  • Although I use the QR code I can only download and install the normal Teamfit app, I can't get into the DB Schenker Challenge this way.

Disable any ad blockers/tracking blockers you may have on the network you're coming from (or on your phone, if they have such things). If you don't disable ad blockers/tracking blockers, the download links will take you to the general non-gift version in the App Store instead.​​​​​​​

  • How do I install the app?

The download automatically starts the installation on the mobile device.

  • Can I install the app on tablets as well?

The app runs on both mobile devices and tablets.

  • Can I use the app on multiple devices at the same time?

The app can be used in parallel on multiple devices. The last completed workout is synchronized with the server and is displayed on all logged-in devices.

  • Can temp agency workers participate in the Leading The Way Challenge and can they get the shoes?

Temp agency workers can participate in the Leading The Way Challenge. When they participate, they can get the shoes. 

  • How can temp agency workers participate in the Leading The Way Challenge and get the shoes?

Temp agency workers can participate in the Leading The Way Challenge when they register in the Teamfit App or using the Frontline Workers Microsite.

To register in the App:
Scan the QR code which you will find under the link above, then the registration process will start automatically.
After downloading the app, you will be greeted by a welcome pop up. Please confirm this with ok. After that the registration in the app will start.
1. Enter your email address and click "Next".
2. Choose a password and enter it.
3. Repeat the input of the same password for confirmation.
4. Click on "Register Now".
5. Enter a name.
6. Specify your gender: male/female/diverse.
7. Indicate your fitness level (fit, medium, unfit).
8. Indicate which area you want to focus on during bodyweight training (whole body, abdomen & back, buttocks & legs or upper body).

How to enter the challenge:
1. Answer the question that you are employed by DB Schenker or a subsidiary of the DB Schenker Group.
2. Select the region in which you work.
3. Select the country where you work.
4. Select the city where you work.
5. Select the location where you work.
6. Select the company of the DB Schenker Group where you work.
7. Enter your first and last name.
8. Enter your shoe size.

  • Do the temp agency workers need a DB Schenker email address?

No, no DB Schenker email address is needed, but every person must have an individual email address (it's not possible that one email address registers more than one person).

  • Register via Frontline Workers Microsite

As a temp agency worker you can also register for the challenge on the Frontline Workers Microsite. Click on this link and fill out all mandatory fields.

  • If someone has already registered as "external", how can that person switch to "internal"?

Please re-register with your e-mail and password. Click on challenge at the bottom. Next click on the button "edit personal data". Open the field "You are employed by DB Schenker or one of its legal entities and choose Yes, i am an employee. Now you can enter all information for the region, country, city, site and your shoe size. To finish click on "save selection".

  • Is there a deadline for registration for the shoes?

Yes, for organizational reasons there is an order deadline for the shoes, it ends on 31.03.2022.

  • What about new employees which enter to DB Schenker after the deadline of shoe registration?

There is no deadline for NEW employees, they can also register when they join the company. The deadline here is Dec. 31, 2022, because that is when the challenge ends.

  • How do I register in the app?

After downloading the app, you will be greeted by a welcome pop up. Please confirm this with ok. After that the registration in the app will start.                 

1. Enter your email address and click "Next".
2. Choose a password and enter it.

  • Can employees register via one email address? This is for those blue collar workers who do not have personal email addresses.

No, each user needs their own email address. The email address is required to open an account in the app and cannot be used more than once.

  • What about employees which have no pc/laptop to register via frontline workers microsite?

In this case, maybe this employees can use a pc/laptop in the site/location/branch.

  • Why do I need to confirm the consent?

Each user who participates in the Leading The Way Challenge must confirm consent. This applies to the Teamfit app and the frontline workers microsite.

  • Why do I have to enter my fitness level?

The TeamFit app can suggest workouts according to your fitness level.

  • I downloaded the app from the App Store, why can't I participate in the DB Schenker Challenge?

If you just install the app from the app store and register, you can't sign up for the challenge, you have to use the QR code, it's the ticket to the challenge.

  • I don't have a smartphone, can I still sign up for the Challenge?

  • My smartphone cannot scan QR codes, can I still register for the Challenge?

Yes, install the Teamfit app and in the team section (if you swipe all the way to the right) enter the team code: CCDBSLTW

  • How do I register for the Challenge?

1. Answer the question whether you are employed by DB Schenker or a subsidiary of the DB Schenker Group.
2. Select the region in which you work
3. Select the country where you work
4. Select the city where you work
5. Select the location where you work
6. Select the company of the DB Schenker Group where you work
7. Enter your first and last name
8. Enter your shoe size

  • Why do I have to provide the information about my place of work?

By registering for the "Leading The Way" Challenge, you as an employee of DB Schenker or one of its subsidiaries are automatically registered for the free 150-year DB Schenker Sneaker. DB Schenker will send the sneakers to your workplace. Therefore, it is very important that you choose the right site to ensure that the shoes reach you safely. You can find the terms and conditions of participation at the bottom of the page.

  • I don't know my sneaker size exactly, what can I do?

When you register for the Challenge, you will see a box with "Shoe Size Overview". Click on it and you will find an overview of adidas shoe sizes in European, American and UK sizes. If you are unsure, there are two ways: 
1. put a sheet of paper on the floor so that one end touches the wall. Stand on the paper with your heel facing the wall. Mark the spot on the sheet where your longest toe ends. Measure the distance between the wall and your mark. You can read the length in the adidas sizing chart to determine your appropriate shoe size. 
2. if there is a sporting goods store near you, ask them for the adidas Supernova model and try the sneaker on site.

  • Can I change my shoe size afterwards?

On the Challenge area in the app you find the button "edit personal data". There you can change the shoe sizes and information about your region/country/legal entity/city/site.

  • There are some employees who have registered as DB Schenker employees, but the shoe size selection does not appear. After several attempts - reinstalling and deleting the teamfit app data - the shoe size still does not appear.

When starting the registration, please check if the QR code has been scanned. This is mandatory, if the QR code is not scanned, the registration for the Leading The Way Challenge will not start and you will not be able to enter shoe sizes. If you experience any problems despite scanning the QR code, send an email to schenkersupport@teamfit.eu with your name and the email address you use for registration. Teamfit will check if you are registered for the Challenge and give you feedback.

  • What information do I have to provide as a user if I do not work for a company of the DB Schenker Group?

1. Answer "No" to the question whether you are employed by DB Schenker or a subsidiary of the DB Schenker Group.
2. Please enter your first name, last name and e-mail address.
3. Then determine your status with the selection under: Supplier, Customer, Partner, Friends or Other. If you want, you can tell us which company you work for.

  • How is the team composed?

You will be automatically assigned to a team with 14 colleagues from your site once registration is complete.

  • Why am I automatically assigned to a team?

TeamFit works with teams to keep motivation high and to guarantee success. To ensure that everyone is organized into teams right from the start, automatically generated teams are created. As a DB Schenker employee, you are assigned to a team at your location.

  • Is the preference that people stay in their allocated teams, or can they leave and join other teams?

All options are welcome, the advantage of self-created teams is higher motivation and goal achievement. Self-created teams have a 50% better performance than automated teams.

  • How can you link a new team you have created to the main group challenge? We have created a new team but it's not showing a dashboard for that team and is not adding the points to the company challenge?

You must register your team in the Leading The Way Challenge. Please follow the instructions available on Teams

  • How to check if I did registration to the "Leading The Way-Challenge" correctly?

​​​​​​​The easiest way is to check the news section in your team. all training sessions should be reported in km, also for the Brain Quiz, etc. If points are shown there, the team is not yet registered in the Challenge.

  • How can we assign a team captain for the team members already assigned by TeamFit?

Team captains cannot be assigned for automated teams. The function is taken over by the app.

  • There is no captain showing in the list of team members

Yes, since it is an automatically generated team, these teams do not have a team captain.

  • Can you change your team name once setup? Or is this not possible

You can't change the name of the team at the moment.

  • As Team Captain - can we see the results from other challenges?

​​​​​​​You cannot use the other Teamit Challenges to control your teams. The challenges in Teamfit run side by side and have no relation to each other. To motivate your teams you can use the weekly goals and the news function within the team area. e.g. "this week we want to achieve all KM with the sport running" or "let's complete all open brain quizzes by the end of the week".

  • As Team Captain - can we see who has the joined a challenge?

​​​​​​​In the team view you can see the number of team members at the top next to the team name, if you click on it you will see the names of the team members and their role as team captain or team member. Alternatively, you can also see the team members by clicking on Ranking in the team view.

  • If we have colleagues leaving Schenker, can we take them out of the competition?

​​​​​​​The easiest way is if the employee himself leaves the teams and the challenge. Otherwise every team captain would have to remove the employee from his team.​​​​​​​

  • Can I invite other members to join my team?

Yes: select "Team" in the navigation pane and click on the "Invite Friends" field. 

1. Add your friends to your team. 
2. Send an invitation link by email directly from the app or
3. Share the invitation code.

  • Is there a maximum number of team members that can participate on a team?

​​​​​​​Teamfit works best in smaller teams with a size of 5 to 25 members. From a technical perspective it is also possible to create large teams with over 100 members.

  • How can I join a team?

1. Via the QR code/link: https://teamfit.app.link/SCHENKER 
2. Via an invitation link from an already registered colleague. Follow the instructions.

  • Can I be a member of multiple teams? What happens to my workouts then?

Yes. The kilometers you accumulate in your workouts will show up in each team but will only count once towards the competition.

  • When someone is invited to the new group, their old record disappears in the new group. Can't he take his record with him to the new group?

​​​​​​​If the user leaves a team, he is no longer listed in the old team. His results achieved until then remain in the old team. He cannot take his results to the new team.

  • In how many teams can I participate?

You can be a member / team captain in as many teams as you want, there is no limit (technically speaking)​​​​​​​

  • Is it possible to make a team with employees from different regions? If yes, how the km will be counted? Splited into 2 regions??

Yes, it is possible. You need to decide for which region you want to register the team. The results can only be scored for one region. ​​​​​​​

  • If it is possible to invite customers (non-employees), does the km will be counted for challenges?

Yes, the contest is open to everyone. However, shoes and raffles are for employees only. Every kilometer counts.​​​​​​​

  • How can I create a new team?

Navigate to "New Team" in the menu and press "Create Team". After that, enter a team name and choose either predefined goals or define your own goals.

  • How can I train with my team?

Join one or more teams. Start a workout and your training data will be automatically added to your teams.​​​​​​​

  • Can I delete a team that I have created?

​​​​​​​No, please send an email to schenkersupport@teamfit.eu with your team name and team code

  • How can I start a workout?

Click on "Training" in the navigation bar at the bottom and select a training.

  • Can I transfer workouts from my trackers?

You can transfer the data from the following providers: Apple Health, Google Fit, Garmin and Fitbit.

  • How can I transfer my workouts or steps from my tracker?

​​​​​​​1. Select "Training" in the navigation bar. 
2. Swipe down to the "Third party tracker" section and select the appropriate tracker. Then you are ready to import workouts from the last 14 days. 
3. Connect Teamfit to one of the supported trackers (Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit or Garmin).
4. Choose either auto import or manual individual import of the data. To do this, you will need to give Apple Health and Google Fit permission to transfer the workouts or step data to TeamFit. For Android users: please check in advance if Google Fit is already installed on your phone. If not, please install it.

  • In my case, results from my tracker are counted multiple?

There was a bug in a previous version of the app. This has been fixed in the meantime. Please check if you have the latest version of the app installed.

  • Can I create my own workouts?

​​​​​​​Yes, to do this, select "Workout" in the navigation bar. In the "Bodyweight Training" section, swipe left and click on the "Custom Workouts" section. Here you can create your own workouts.

  • Can I change the workouts I have created later?

In the "My Workouts" section, you can swipe your finger to the left and select "edit" to edit your workout.​​​​​​​

  • Can I delete the workouts I have created myself?

​​​​​​​In the "My Workouts" section, you can swipe your finger to the left and select "delete" to delete your workout.

  • Can I share the workouts I have created?

In the "My Workouts" section, you can swipe your finger to the right and select "share" to share your workout with your friends.​​​​​​​

  • I did a workout but didn't have my smartphone or tracker with me. Can I manually add the workout?

Yes:
1.) Click "Training"
2.) Scroll to the "More" section.
3.) Swipe to the right and click on "Enter Workout Manually"
4.) Fill in the fields and press save.

  • How are my workouts converted into kilometers for the Challenge?

​​​​​​​Completed distance kilometers are adopted 1:1 (e.g. running, hiking, cycling). Sports without distance coverage are converted using a conversion key based on metabolic principles. You can see the conversion in the list "Calculation KM" for each sport.

  • Some users mentioned that for a couple of days, the app is working properly but then yesterday, all members of this particular team reached out and said that their goal just suddenly disappeared. What's the reason behind this?

​​​​​​​Then the goal is reached. For the next week, the system will set new goals (for automatic teams). For organic teams, the team captain can set a new goal immediately.

  • Can a team captain delete the wrong duplicate activites or incorrect km datas for any member?

​​​​​​​The team captain can delete wrong workouts in the news area. He can swipe the entry to the left and delete with the post the workout.

  • Why do I only get suggested exercises for the upper body or only for the legs in the workouts?

You will receive workouts based on your training goal, which you selected while creating your account. Of course, you can also adjust your training goal afterwards. To do this, click on "More" and your name in the navigation bar at the bottom right. Then swipe down to the Training Goal section. Here you can adjust the Bodyweight Focus.

  • What do the different training goals mean?

Whole Body: All exercises from the whole spectrum are compiled for you.
Abdomen & Back: Here you get focused exercises for the upper and lower back, as well as for the entire abdominal area compiled.
Buttocks & Legs: Here the focus is on the lower part of your body. Lots of leg and buttocks exercises.  
Upper Body: Here the exercises for the upper body offered.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​


  • Is the app highly dependent on internet connection/data?

Yes, you need a stable internet connection for gps, for all distance sport types.

  • Does the app cost money?

No, the app is free of charge.

  • I do not receive any response from support

Please check the spam folder of your mail program.

  • Can I change the language in the app?

​​​​​​​Yes, you can find it under: more - settings. At the moment the following languages are selectable as full version in the app:
English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Bahasa Malay.
 
These languages are included partially translated:
Finnish/English, Italian/English, Korean/English, Norwegian/English, Slovak/English.

  • Can I continue to use the app after completing the Challenge?

Yes, you can continue to use the app free of charge after completing the challenge.

  • My app crashed and won't launch, what can I do?

 You can try to delete the data of the app. To do this, you need to go to the app settings menu of your smartphone and delete the data of the Teamfit app. It may happen that the data of your last workout is deleted. If this does not fix the error or if the error occurs more often, please contact us in support.

  • How can I upload/change my profile picture?

Select "More" in the navigation bar at the bottom right. Click your name, and then click the pencil icon. Import an image from your gallery or take a picture using the camera.

  • What can I do if I have problems with the GPS recording?

In principle, problems with GPS recording can have several causes. One of them is a poor GPS signal. On the one hand, this can be due to the GPS sensors of your smartphone, but on the other hand, it can also be due to the environment in which you do your workouts.

Regardless, though, you can change some minor settings on your smartphone itself in order for the Teamfit app's GPS recording to work properly.

The GPS must be enabled and both iOS and Android must always give the Teamfit app access to your location. Depending on your smartphone's operating system, there are also other settings to consider.

For Android:

1. the GPS itself and on the smartphone during recording must have the energy saving mode disabled. This also applies to the battery power optimization. This is because these energy-saving modes significantly reduce the accuracy of the GPS recording, which in turn leads to gaps in the Teamfit recording.
2. furthermore, access to "Physical Activity" must be allowed in the Teamfit app settings.

For iOS:

1. you must permanently enable GPS in the Teamfit app settings on Apples' operating system. It is not enough if only "When using the app" is set.
2. in addition, "Motion and Fitness" must be allowed in your phone's Teamfit app settings. 

If you do not receive a good GPS signal despite these tips, please contact our support. You can send us a message via the letter icon at the bottom of the page.

  • Why doesn't Teamfit work on all Huawei devices?

Currently, Teamfit only works on devices that can use Google Play Services. This is not the case for some Huawei smartphones. We are working on a solution.​​​​​​​


  • Are colleagues who registered through the form on the microsite, included in the overall country participation rates?

Yes, all registrations are counted, both in the app and via the frontline workers microsite.

  • When a frontline worker is registered with the link, does he receive a confirmation on his email that is registered?

All employees who have registered on the frontline workers website after 2/27/2022 will automatically receive a confirmation email. All employees who signed up before 02/27/2022 will need to sign up again on the frontline workers website and confirm their consent. They will also receive a confirmation email afterwards.

  • Is there a way to have colleagues registered via frontline workers site to complete the quizz?

  • When does the Challenge start and when will my movements be counted?

The Challenge officially starts on Jan. 1, 2022, but you can register for it in the app as early as Dec. 16 and use the app for custom workouts.

  • When does the Challenge end?

The Challenge ends on Dec. 31, 2022.

  • Can I invite a business partner or friend to participate in the Challenge?

Yes, this is possible. To do so, click on Team in the navigation bar and select the "Invite friends" field. You will receive a "code" which you can send to your business partners or friends.

  • How many stages are there to be achieved?

The Challenge has an overall goal of 150 million km to be achieved through physical activities and the Brain Quiz. The entire Challenge is divided into 4 quarterly stages.

  • How many km do I have to reach to fulfill the target?

The targets are based on the WHO recommendation that you should take between 6,000 and 10,000 steps a day to make a positive contribution to maintaining your health. This roughly corresponds to a distance of 5 - 8 kilometers. If all DB Schenker employees walk an average of 5 kilometers a day or take part in the Brain Quiz, the Challenge goal will be achieved.

  • To which organization will the money be donated?

The quarterly donations go to 4 carefully selected charitable organizations. In the 1st quarter, WeForest is supported. For quarters 2-4, non-profit organizations from the areas of water, air and people are selected and presented in the challenge area (newsfeed) of the app.

  • When will the money be donated?

At the end of each quarter, the number of kilometers reached is calculated and factored into the total amount donated. The donation is handed over in the following quarter.

  • What happens if the quarterly target is not achieved?

In this case, only the amount of km that was reached will be donated.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

  • What is being tracked?

You are provided with numerous workouts and exercises to choose from in the app, which automatically track your activity.

  • Where can I view my performance?

The Team navigation pane displays your performance and the performance of your teammates.

  • Where can I see the status of the Challenge?

The Challenge area shows the status of the Challenge.

  • Where can I find the ranking of the countries?

The Challenge area "Dashboard" displays the ranking of the countries.

  • I have already participated in another Challenge (e.g. Push Challenge), can I now also participate in the "Leading The Way" Challenge?

Yes, it is possible. The challenge starts on January 1st 2022.

  • What happens if I reach more kilometers than what was set as a goal for the month?

The km that exceed the goal will count towards the overall Challenge goal (reaching 150 million km).

  • How does the Brain Quiz work?

You will receive information in the "Newsfeed" of the Challenge section as soon as a quiz question is available for answering. By clicking on the post, you will be redirected to the Brain Quiz. In the Brain Quiz area you will find a short information text. Below that, you will be presented with the question with 3 possible answers to choose from. Only one of the answers is correct. If you can't answer correctly on the first try, you have more tries.

  • Where can I find the Brain Quiz?

You will receive information in the newsfeed of the Challenge section as soon as a quiz question is available for answering. Click on the post and you will be redirected to the Brain Quiz.

  • How many km do I get credited for the correct answer?

For each correctly answered question you will be credited with 5 km.

  • What is the raffle based on? Do all teams have the same chance to win, or do teams with better results have a bigger chance to win?

Prizes are awarded to the country with the best performance per month, based on target achievement measured by the number of employees per country. The more employees per country participate and meet the target of 5 km / employee / day, the higher the chance to win.​​​​​​​

  • How and when can I participate in the raffles?

Contribute to reaching your country's monthly goal through your activity and the Brain Quiz. If your country is #1 in the ranking list at the end of the month, 150 winners will be drawn in that country.

  • How do I get the prize?

The prize will be handed to you at the workplace.

  • Can I get the winnings paid out in cash?

It is not possible to receive the winnings in cash.

  • Where can I find the terms and conditions of participation?

You can find the terms and conditions of participation at the bottom of this page or in the app in the challenge section.

  • Where do I return the prize if it is defective?

Please contact your Contact Point Person for the Challenge at your workplace (Location/Branch/Site).

  • Could the sneaker be shipped to my home address?

No, the sneaker will be sent to your workplace, so check these details in the challenge section in the app. Click on the button "Edit personal data"!

  • How can our colleagues check if they have already ordered shoes and what size?

Open the TeamFit app, click on the button "edit personal data", here you can check your shoe size and the informations for your region/country/city/site. To this location the sneakers will be sended.

  • Where can I put my home address to send the shoes?

  • How do I get my shoe if I no longer work for DB Schenker?

​​​​​​​The shoes are sent exclusively to branches of the DB Schenker Group for distribution. Please contact your site to get your shoe.

  • Does HR get a list of all shoe orders?

​​​​​​​Yes, before starting distribution the shoes, HR will get a orderlist per site to check it.

  • What about employees which leave the company before getting the shoes?

​​​​​​​They receive the shoes, how they get them is the responsibility of the site/location/branch. either the colleagues have to pick them up there themselves or the site/location/branch sends them to the colleagues.​​​​​​​

  • How and when will I receive the sneaker?

The sneaker will be made available to you at your workplace (Location/Branch/Site) tentatively in the summer of 2022.

  • What do I do if the sneaker doesn't fit?

There will be no central return/exchange. Check with your branch if there is a local or national "swap meet".  Here you could exchange your sneaker for another size (if the size is available at the "swap meet"). To do so, please contact your Challenge Contact Point Person at your workplace (Location/Branch/Site).

  • Where can I return the sneaker if it is defective/damaged?

To do so, please contact your Contact Point Person for the Challenge at your workplace (Location/Branch/Site).

  • Does everyone who signed up on the app receive a sneaker?

The sneaker is only for DB SCHENKER permanent employees. See conditions of participation.
