Schenker Jinbei Logistics (SJL), the joint venture between DB Schenker and Jinbei Automotive, officially celebrates the opening of its multi-user facility in Shenyang, the Shenyang Logistics Center (SLC), on December 12, 2017. With a footprint of 42,000 square meters the warehouse is DB Schenker’s second biggest logistics center in China and has been one of its largest construction projects worldwide during recent years.

The construction work of the state-of-the-art facility started in May 2016. After the first section covering 19,000 square meters was completed in the end of 2016, the second phase comprising another 23,000 square is now ready for operations.

SJL was formed in February 2015 to offer best-in-class logistics services in the City of Shenyang. As the northern city is renowned as an automotive hotspot, the facility primarily serves companies in the car manufacturing sector, but is also open to customers from all other industries. SJL provides the full range of logistics services including customized logistics solutions, supply chain management, pick and pack, just in time/sequence inventory, inventory management, quality control, cross docking and vendor managed inventory to its customers in the Shenyang-Tiexi Logistics Center.
