Panama Canal Adjustment Factor notice for Far-East to USA & Canada – Rescheduled
Following historically low water levels in the Gatun Lake that have caused draft restrictions on vessels transiting from Asia to the North America East and Gulf Coasts, Steamship Lines have issued announcements of a Panama Canal Adjustment Factor.
Please be advised of the intended NEW Panama Canal Adjustment Factor for all Eastbound cargo from Far East origins to all destinations in Canada and USA via the East and Gulf Coasts with details as follows:
Effective date starting January 1st, 2024, and until further notice.
USD 300 per container
