The department Development and Service Management in ITM Land is responsible to develop and operate all global business applications for the Schenker Land Transport business.
Based on agile development methods, the team is responsible to provide reliable and performant IT solutions for a demanding business, act as central coordination and management unit for internal and external suppliers and take care of the day to day IT operation.
The architect within the Business Unit "IT Management Land" is responsible for planning of micro service architectures for applications in the cloud and the development of applications and systems that provide the required functionality for IT services. The architecture always exists in a highly heterogeneous environment that includes legacy services, mobile devices and IOT. The task includes the design and communications of architectures for components or systems, development, testing and maintenance of custom software applications as well as the customization of standard software.

  • Planning of micro service architectures for applications in the cloud
  • Design and communications of architectures for components or systems
  • Development of software
  • Optimization of software and the development process
  • Code review
  • Documentation of software and processes
  • Teach others

Requisitos

Your Requirements:
  • Minimum Master's / Diploma degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Multiple years professional expertise in Java Enterprise development
  • Professional experience in agile development
  • Minimum skills in
  • Domain Driven Design
    • Java
    • JPA/Hibernate
    • Spring
    • REST, XML, HTML5
    • JUnit, Mockito
    • SQL
    • Web security
    • Docker
  • Preferred skills in
    • Angular, CSS
    • Kotlin
    • Kubernetes
    • Quartz
    • Amazon web services or google cloud
    • Knowledge about cross-platform responsive design
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Very good communication skills
  • Customer and service orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across diverse organizations, groups and functions
  • Flexible thinker able to operate in a changing environment
  • Fluent Business English and German (written and spoken)
