Specific Accountabilities:

  • Improve the top-line growth and bottom-line profitability of our clusters in APAC via structured business development and revenue management within BU Land Transport 
  • Manage internally pricing and solution design activities for large Land opportunities with cross-border & cross-cluster elements. Be the window to our tender management organization. 
  • Provide functional guidance to Cluster BD, field sales and solution design resources within BU Land APAC
  • Engage with our Vertical Market team on regional level to develop industry specific solutions, align on suitable target customers and build a strong pipeline of new business.
  • Review sales pipeline development and key opportunities with clusters regularly. 
  • Arrange by yourself or participate in customer meetings regarding large Land Transport opportunities where value-adding. 
  • Build lean + digital sales & pricing processes for Land Transport to enable fast & effective scaling of the business with strong profit margins. 
  • Contribute ideas and drive innovation of our Land products based on customer feedback and market potential.
  • Establish revenue management with a focus on rate adjustment mechanism, surcharge applicability and tariff developments.

Required experience & qualifications:

  • Has 5 years’ experience with a multi-modal (air & ocean) international logistics company in an operations or client management role is preferred.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Office Software required
  • Knowledge of DB Schenker TMS (TANGO) is preferred
  • Project and Change Management
